About The Author
Malajsha Mollett, also known as Lay, was born on January 7, 2012, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A dedicated and creative student, she consistently earns high honors in school and is known for her love of learning and leadership.
Lay is passionate about sports and the arts, enjoying activities such as basketball, football, writing, and playing the drums. Her strong sense of creativity and ambition led her to become a young entrepreneur at the age of eight. She is the founder of Balling Bags, a business that features her own line of basketball purses and custom tie-dye clothing.
Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, Lay was inspired to use her voice to help others. Her interest in mental health and her desire to support kids like herself motivated her to write this book. Through her writing, Lay hopes to encourage young people to talk about their feelings and know they are not alone.
